I don't charge a booking fee and just require a deposit of 40% when you book, with the remainder due 6 weeks before you arrive. I am happy to accept cheques made payable to Mrs P.A Suter, or BACS payments.
I don't believe in hidden costs, so I include in the price all heating, logs, electricity and bed linen.

How to find Honeykiln Cottage

Honeykiln Cottage is a cosy holiday cottage in the village of Middleham, near Leyburn, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales.

Middleham is located some 20 miles west of Northallerton and approximately 15 miles south west of Darlington.

By road

Leave the A1 at junction 51 and take the A6055 to the junction with the A684. Follow the Leyburn road through the villages of Crakehall, Patrick Brompton and Constable Burton. Entering Leyburn you will see a petrol station, turn left here onto the A6108 towards Middleham. Entering the village you will see St Akelda's road on the right, follow this to the top of the hill. The Springs are on the right and Honeykiln Cottage is the farthest house from you at the top of the cul de sac.

By public transport


Take the train to Northallerton and then change to the bus to Leyburn. Take the Ripon bus which then stops in Middleham, or get a taxi from Leyburn.


Take either a bus from Ripon which stops in Middleham or a bus to Leyburn from Northallerton and change as above.
